Went to Manchester Evening News Arena for the A Call to Humanity-Islamic convention. I just went to see Dr Zakir Naik. His speech was outstanding as usual. Had a great day with Mohibor and Amir. Also saw about 10,000 Bangalis in MEN Arena. The convention was full to its capacity of 18,000. Junaid joined us in the evening. We had a meal in Rusholme.

Just read few interesting verses from Surah An-Nur, the 24th Surah from Holy Quran. Here are the Ayah 2 and 3 from Surah An-Nur which really caught my eyes, it's about how illicit relationship is treated in Islam. Hopefully the muslim friends and the regular readers of my blog will benefit from these verses. " 24-2: The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication,- flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by God, if ye believe in God and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment. 24-3: Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry any but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever: nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden.
