Miss home...I was really upset whole day. Getting the papers ready for my dad's visa appliaction. Also preparing the essay for postgraduate application. Watched Fana today. Really good film.

Got my degree result today, got 2:2. I feel like I have wasted my 5 years at uni, I will have to do masters now to make up the bad result in degree. I am having such a bad day today..didn't go to work, not feeling well. I am soooo depressed. The job at Co-op bank cost me a lot, I wish I could go back 3 years and quit the job and start fresh again. I will need to apply for a good masters degree down south Inshallah.. What a nightmare! Don't think I will be going for my graduation ceremony now... I went to stockport in the afternoon, bought a multi-region DVD player for £40. Then went to Borofupu's house, Ayesha bhabi cooked me a nice meal. Fupu also paid me for the DVD player.

Woke up early in the morning, my body clock is still ticking in Bangladeshi time. Got no food in the house, will need to get out and get some. Will need to wash some clothes as well. Not sure what to do for the rest of the day, miss being surrounded by family. Phoned family and spoke to everyone, bit depressing. I think my Degree result is out, gotta check tomorrow. Watching TV now..WOW!!

Just got back from Bangladesh. Flight was okay.Miss family. Watched Paheli,Bluffmaster in the flight. Found out from Shamila that my degree results are out, not sure what I got, cant check them until monday..

Prayed Juma with dad, brothers and khalu. Khala and khalu came to see me along with all the cousins. Rana,Rajib,Samdani,Sabbir and Rocky came to see me in the evening. Watched the Argentina match together.

Went to Artisti with Shana, she bought me a shirt. Then went to Helvetia. It was raining heavily in Dhaka. Really fun to roam around in wet dhaka street in a rickshaw. Bought a 12 CFT LG refrigerator for 26500 taka.

We are having another day of strike in dhaka,hopefully the last one! got only two days of my holiday left.. Miraz is still staying over, so things aren't too bad. Rajib, Samdani and Sabbir came last night to meet me, we had a good laugh again. Quite relaxed today, after a hectic yesterday, looking forward to do something more enjoyable tomorrow Inshallah.

Couldn't go out of Uttara for whole day, there was strike in Dhaka. Miraz stayed over last night. Went to get some DVDs and few other things from the shopping centres in Uttara. Miraz accompanied me. What a waste of my holiday!

Went to Gulshan today to open an Bangladesh International account at HSBC gulshan branch. Not impressed with the service, staff were ok, but I think they are yet to know the bits and bobs of banking of international standard. Met Zahir, Miraz and Mazed outside Pizza Hut in gulshan. Had a good laugh. In the afternoon went to buy an air conditioner for the house, bought a 22000 BTU air conditioner for my mum. It cost me 36500 taka plus 2000 taka for installation. Also liked a 800 watt microwave oven, so bought that for 8200 taka too. My Khalamoni and Khalu came over in the evening, had a small family get together.

There is a day long "oborodh" (blockade) in dhaka today, which means no vehicle can travel in and out of dhaka. I had to stay at home all day. Met Shana in the afternoon, their family is quite nice her brother cooked us a meal. Shana is really nice person. Miraz came yesterday and stayed over last night.

Arrived Dhaka today, flight delayed for half an hour. But immigration was very quick in dhaka, I was really surprised with Dhaka Airport's service, I finished the immigration within half hour. Emirates' in flight entertainment was brilliant, watched Firewall, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and bit of Qayamat se Qayamat tak in the flight. Made my travelling time go faster. It is raining heavily in Dhaka, really nice weather, raindrops are big and warm. My brothers, Ferdous nana and Dad went to the airport.

ust finished packing my stuff, Inshallah will be leaving house in an hour. Flying from terminal 2 with Emirates. Flight is at 2pm. Junaid is dropping me off at the airport. Dhaka ETA 0840 (10-06-06) Inshallah. Please pray for me so that I have a nice and safe journey. Looking forward to see family in Dhaka. More update later from Dhaka Inshallah. World Cup 2006 starts today in Germany.

Just packing my stuff for Bangladesh. I don't think I can take half of the things I thought I would take. It is really annoying that I am taking everyone's stuff apart from my stuff- and I need to take my stuff as well. I had 96 hits on my blog yesterday-seriously, who is reading my blog? Got work tomorrow, busy day ahead, first work, then preparing for travel..next week is going to be really busy week Inshallah. Banking, interviews,shopping..lot to do within a week.

Apparently today is the day for evil stuff, not found any yet. I think I have defeated the evil from my life forever.

Woke up and spent first 2 hours of my day on the phone, then went to town to get few stuff, couldn't get any of them and bought a pair of shoe instead. Got my usual sunday headache, and dont think it's going to go away until I have a good sleep. Bought a lot of chocolate for BD-also a lot of minestrone soup... Really bored now and watching 'The Mummy' for tenth time in my life. Hoping for a better time in Dhaka. p.s. It is 17 degree in manchester and I am absolutely boiling here, may Allah help me in Dhaka!! Also Junaid is in Manchester today. Got 80 hits on my blog yesterday, who is reading my blog?
