I have just finished watching ‘Taare Zameen Par’ by Aamir Khan. This movie is undoubtedly the best Indian movie I have ever seen. This film is probably going to change the Bollywood finally and encourage the directors to produce films other than the romantic films. The story of the film ‘Taare Zameen Par’ revolves around a dyslexic kid whose parents and teachers fail to understand his talent. His art teacher, who is also a dyslexic, helps him to turn around and he becomes the star performer of the school eventually.
The story is carefully crafted and the film is produced with the utmost emotional patronage. Aamir Khan who is known as a perfectionist again amazed me with his attention to details. The songs of the movie have really married up with the film unlike most of the Hindi movies. The special effects were also very good by the Indian standard-full of creativity all round.
Aamir's character appears just before the end of the first half, but one is so engrossed that Aamir ‘s absence is not felt. That’s amazing! All the credit goes to the protagonist played by Darsheel Safary who in my opinion produces the best performance to date by a child artist in Hindi cinema. He is the heart and soul of the movie and it is stunning to see how naturally this boy handles scenes of intense emotions with such ease.
The film gets a whopping 10 out of 10 in my review-my first 10/10 ever!
I also salute Aamir Khan for endeavouring to produce a movie with such a potentially big financial risk in the romantic film industry of bollywood. He showed a lot of courage and emotion in producing the movie.
This movie will be really helpful for the parents facing similar problem in the South Asian region as dyslexia is often misunderstood in the region and the help and support for the people suffering from dyslexia isn’t readily available.
BUM BUM BOLE. MASTI MEIN DOLE ..
