ছাঁদ ফুটো

কাল রাতে প্রচন্ড বৃষ্টি হয়েছে। আমার ছাদ থেকে পানি পড়ছে। মহা বিরক্ত লাগছে। এমন ঘটনা জীবনেও দেখিনি। যাই হোক ফ্ল্যাট এজেন্সীকে কল করেছি। দেখি কি হয়! কাল সারারাত ঘুমাতে পারিনি পানির শব্দে। তাছাড়া এখনো সেই দুঃস্বপ্নগুলো দেখি। জানিনা কেন এমন হচ্ছে। আমি সবকিছু থেকে নিজেকে আড়াল করে রাখছি, ঘর থেকে বের হই না, কারো সাথে কথা বলি না, তবুও দুঃস্বপ্নগুলো পিছু ছাড়ছে না। কি অদ্ভুত মানুষের জীবন! উপরওয়ালা যখন ইচ্ছা তখন জীবন নিয়ে খেলা আরম্ভ করেন..

Underworld: Evolution

Watched Underworld: Evolution today, pretty average movie...same old story. After watching the movie, I am now convinced that the hollywood producers have started to watch bollywood movie. So many disorientated scenes in the movie..it's unbelievable. Woke up at 11am today. Downloaded the new album of Miles, Protidhoni. Only three songs are ok. It's nowhere near the last albums.

Alpha Maverick!!

Just watched Dr. DoLittle 2, Watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding- Greek version of 'East is East'. Got a brilliant quote from the movie,"Don't let the past dictate who you are but let the past be a part of who you become". SHE is so down to earth, spoke to HER for first time, amazing, actually I am so used to speaking to the arrogant girls here, I forgot that well mannered people existed!! Anyway, it's a start, not sure where it's going to end..but hope somewhere good Inshallah. Even if it doesn't end well, it surely will be an enjoyable journey.

Gasssssssssss!!

Ran out of gas today, and loss the card for top up, it was a complete disaster, had to go and pick up a new card and survive on emergency credit. Handed in my Interim Report today,hopefully will get good marks, see how it goes.. Listening to Miles after a long time..those evergreen songs taking me down the memory line.

Well Done Bangladesh U-19 Cricket Team!!

Started my day with the Earl Grey Tea. Decided to finish off my interim report today. I have also been following the result from Under 19 World Cup which is being held in Sri Lanka. Today Bangladesh U-19 Team Beat Pakistan U-19 team by 4 wickets and secured their place in the Super League round. This is the first time any Bangladeshi cricket team started a tournament as favourites and the team has been living up to the expectation. On the way to to superleague Bangladesh also beat New Zealand U-19. Looking forward to a rosy future for Bangladesh Cricket team in next few years. Had a long overdue haircut today, and to my surprise I found out that I am losing hair, I can see my scalp through my hair! I will need a hair weaving treatment in few years time...that's going to be a painful experience..

Twenty Five!!

I am 25 today!! Yes, 25 springs have come and gone from my life, a bit depressed, but mostly joyous. Hope I start to enjoy the life even more as I grow older. Got quite a lot of weird sms today, not sure who they are from, but it's always nice to be remembered, so I am not gonna complain. Spoke to my parents which was the best part of the day. Also Jasmin Apu wanted to treat me at Nando's- so nice of her. But I had a lot of work to do for my project, and had to concentrate as interim report is due soon. Hope it goes well. Hopefully this is my last birthday without my family. Hoping to celebrate my next birthday with my family Inshallah.

The day before my birthday..

istening to this brilliant song called 'Subah Ho Gayi' by Aryans..isko hindi mein kehti hain chumma song. Spoke to family in Bangladesh, they are having constant party there, all my relatives are there gathering, and according to my mum's word she is running the 'Bangladesh Restaurant'. I am now cooking khichuri and lamb, will make some salad too. Looking forward to a good day as I have go through the literature review for my project as well.
